| The largest area of the Soul Society. It is split into a series of districts where the regular souls reside. While under the general protection of the shinigami, its large size makes it more dangerous in the areas further away from the Seiretei. Most souls reside in small communal homes with their new "families".

| The areas near the edge of the Soul Society. Far from the districts of the Rukongai or the Seiretei, it is left unmonitored. Souls that travel this deep into the Soul Society tend to disappear mysteriously.

| At the farthest northern edge of Hueco Mundo the desert fades away to be replaced by a black plain. Out of the interest and reach of the Espada, the few hollows that are able to survive the desert crossing are able to exist without the fear of the Menos or the powers in Las Noches and live in peace.

Protected by various traps and barriers, unauthorized entrance is nearly impossible. Built by the original vizards, the base is equipped so it is only required to make contact with the outside world on a very rare basis.
