Site Changes

I noticed that you guys are trying to get things started again. But if thats the case, I think you should look into changing the forum's theme a little. Members are not only attracted to sites with decent rules and all, it also has to look appealing to the eye. So maybe you guys could jazz the place up a little, and see where that takes you. Too much darkness isn't good ^_^

We have talked about this before Jackal in those few moments when you have been on the site.

1. I am not changing the skin myself unless someone provides most of the images. I nearly murdered myself and other people when I made this skin change from the Awakening skin and I learned to keep things relatively the same because my aesthetic senses are crap. I also do not know what most of the colors correspond to and changing the images in some areas requires a change in border or text color which I am not interested in experimenting with.

2. I have far more important things to do to improve the site rather than changing the theme.

3. Quite honestly the people that are attracted to this site are probably attracted because of the rules, not because of the appearance (as long as the appearance isn't ugly enough to drive people away which it isn't)

4. You and Kurayami are honestly the only two people to ever complain about the theme. And Kurayami's main complaint was that there is a lot of blue and he doesn't like blue. Not that it is "too dark" or w/e. Most of the members have stated when I asked in the past that they like the theme and see no issue with it.


So unless someone makes a theme that I feel surpasses this one - Kurayami's attempts were too eyestraining bright and one made it so you couldn't actually read the font in some areas as well - then I will likely not do it for a long time. It is at the complete and total bottom of my priority list.
