The creaking noise of a wooden door slowly opening, pierced his ears, making him twitch. His gaze fixed on the blurred figure standing opposite of his bed, he stared at its direction with spite. "Wake up, Dude" the figure said in a quiet manner and left the room. Too bored and tired to answer back, Chris replied with a mere moo. Despite his father's wake up call, he stayed in his bed, not moving a muscle.
"Pull yourself together." he muttered to himself and almost after a minute, he leaned his elbows against his bed and stood up with unexpected vigor. His thin body was covered with black lightweight sleeved pajamas. Spending some time probing for his slippers, which were lying under his bed, he finally left his room and tardily descended the stairs that were standing near his room.
The dark hall, uncovering before him as he stepped more and more downwards, was occupied with various objects, ranging from wooden chairs to electronic stuff, and with both practical and decorative things. As soon as he reached the floor, he walked to the right, towards his kitchen. It was brightly lighted and that made him shield his eyes with his elbow for a moment, due to the fact that he just awoke from his nine-hour slumber. As soon as he got used of it, he took a glimpse of the room. Luckily and fortunately, no one was there. He hated listening and talking early in the morning, especially his mother, as she was the most talkative among the family.
He took advantage of this chance and quickly pulled a chair back and sat on it, then brought it forth, producing some noise in the meanwhile. He grasped a green bowl standing on the table and started to fill it with some chocolate cereals accompanied with milk of course. He didn't take his time. He didn't waste his time chewing the food, instead he started gulping it.
Suddenly he heard the sound of steps. Someone was descending the stairs. In his panic, his panic he started swallowing more amount of chocolate cereal. The sound was getting louder and louder each time he brought cereal in his mouth. As soon as he ate the last piece of cereal, he felt the presence of someone standing behind him. He stood up and faced her.
"Good morning, did you sleep well?" she softly asked.
"Moooo...." he droned and boringly headed towards the exit of the room.
