Personality: Quiet, reserved, and generally goes with the flow. Sekima's a pretty chill guy and quite easy to get along with, once you look past the whole 'man of a few words' thing. He reaches out to others and gains their trust. He forms bonds with others and helps them out, pretty much only when he's asked to, sometimes even at the cost of himself. Sekima is all right with the fact he's either used as an emotional crutch or even a sacrifice. He knows when to give people space when confronted with their own problems.
Through all the different kinds of people he meets and interacts with, Sekima adopts the role of the best friend, son, rival, team member, and so on - but when it comes down to it, he's not any of those. Like his power, Sekima is everything and nothing at the same time.

However, despite all the bonds and close friendships he's made,Sekima is still a loner. He's content on leading his missions in life alone and seems to be fine with this. Any burden, problem, or internal conflict he's got, Sekima bears silently. He opens himself in order to let others approach, but he never really lets anyone in. Even in the end, only a very small handful of people somewhat understand him

Fighting Style: He focus with speed and power. He uses the speed to dodge and power for offence. When he uses it together , it creates a more stronger power than normal.

Background: ~Human and Death Arc~

Sekima was born in a normal family in a normal place. He was a clever and popular boy in school. Many people were jealous of him. He was a the best student in the Kendo Club and He lived a normal life until his parents died. His parents died in an accident so Sekima was adopted by a kind person. They get along with each other and Sekima resume his life like normal. After a few years , Sekima was in high school. He was walking to his house. He saw some small children playing beside the road so Sekima decided to watch them play.Suddenly , Sekima saw a big hollow in the middle of the road. The ball that the kids were playing went to the hollow. The kids were going to get the ball until Sekima came. Sekima pushed the kids aside and without noticing , the hollow killed Sekima. The hollow was later killed by a Shinigami. Sekima's body was buried and suddenly , something happened. His soul was just wondering around and he wants to find a way to go to heaven.

~Soul Arc , Soul Society and Division Arc~

Then , he saw a big hollow , trying to eat him. Sekima ran quickly . Suddenly , he trip and fell. A person in a black kimono like clothes appear in front of his eyes. That person introduce himself to Sekima. It turns out that he was a Shinigami. The Shinigami killed the hollow and brought Sekima to the Spirit world.He was in the place where souls go. He decided to live there for the time being. After 242 years , he went to a shop and found another shinigami. Sekima was out to buy some things. That shinigami felt an intense presence from Sekima.She told Sekima that Sekima had a large amount of spiritual power. She asked Sekima to go to the Academy . He went to the Academy and graduated at a short time. He is able to master his Zanpaktou and later placed into the 2nd Division.

~Captain Arc~
Sekima was at the 10th Seat in the 2nd Division that time. He mastered his Shikai in a few weeks. Not long after he master his Shikai , he went up to the 5th Seat in an instance. He saw some other shinigamis who are 5th seats and higher have Bankai. Sekima wanted to have Bankai too so he decided to train for it. The training was intense and Sekima had a hard time so he decided to stop his training.Sekima did not trained Bankai for a few years. After 60 years , he decided to train his Bankai.He met a person named Kamon. Kamon encourage Sekima to train and he even helped Sekima. After a few years , Sekima mastered his Bankai. Further more , he became the Captain after he show his strength.Now , he is new to the job and he is always tired.
