Appearance: Naraga is a tall, muscular man standing at "6'9" and weighing about 259 lbs. who has many scars from battles, one of which runs vertically down his left eye which he obtained in a fight with a group of hollows, tribal tatoos on his left arm that extends from his shoulder to his wrist and chest with a large yin yang symbol represented by two dragons on his lower back as well as a tribal tattoo design running down his spine and a nice tan. He has medium-length black hair with silver streaks running through it. He also has green eyes that change color to black on occasion.. His teeth are his most distinguishing features as when he smiles people can see his large, sharp canines. Naraga wears black dress pants, a white long-sleeve dress shirt with a black dress coat with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a black fedora.

Personality: Naraga is a secretive, calm, and mysterious person. He doesn't like to talk about himself and isn't very social. He doesn't usually acknowledge people he dislikes because he sees them as a waste of time. The few people he likes are the people that he is the most comfortable with. Although, he still prefers to be alone, he does converse with close friends and takes on a much more childish and mischievous person, often teasing and pranking people. This adds to people's misunderstanding of his silent, mature, and intimidating persona around strangers. Naraga enjoys listening to music from his mp3 player through a single headphone and working out to improve his physical abilities and appearance. Sometimes, when he is stressed or upset, he will take walks at night and watch the moon to calm him down and help him think. Before and during battle, Naraga gets extremely excited due to his love of physical challlenge and the ability to test his skills. He tends to laugh and giggle with bliss when he comes across a challenging opponent and will only get serious if an opponent underestimates him. He also taunts his opponents and is extremely brutal and merciless. Unless Naraga's opponent was fighting him for the sake of someone else he will slaughter them. When it comes to everyday things, Naraga is very laidback to the point of constant procrastination. He is hard to anger but if succesful no one should be there when he goes off as he usually delivers a kick or punch to closest thing next to him if not the person that pissed him off. Despite his laidback demeanor around friends he can be very "deep" when it comes to personal problems or serious situations.
Leadership: Naraga's style of leadership is based on improving his subordinates view of themselves, himself, and their own abilities. He personally traines his subordinates to see how they progress in certain areas. Although he is not as social with them as close friends, Naraga still maintains a positive relationship with his subordinates. He treats them all with the same attention and respect that he expects them to treat each other with. In battle, Naraga's main way of improving his subordinates morale is by demoralizing the enemy.
Inner Hollow Personality: Naraga's Inner Hollow is mute which adds to his rather creepy appearance. He constantly twitches his head and utters strange clicking and grotesque purring sounds that only Naraga seems to understand. The Inner Hollow may seem like a berserker when fighting but in actuallity it is a clever, strategist who analysis it's opponents in seconds and then executes it's plan with unmatched power and precision. The Inner Hollow doesn't seem interest in taking over Naraga's body but in the case that Naraga is at a disadvantage it will try to persuade him to give over control. Should Naraga refuse and the situation gets worse it will forcefully take control of his body and return it once the danger has passed.

Fighting Style: Naraga focuses mainly on stealth but when he is detected will fight head to head with just as much effectiveness. Naraga is skilled in Zanjutsu and Hapkido and is a talented shunpo master due to his intense training in the 2nd division. Normally, Naraga will use his stealth abilities to kill as many enemies as he can and once he is detected go beserk with his shikai. Once in his shikai he will proceed to try to kill his opponents if they survive his shikai then Naraga deems them a challenging opponent and goes full power by adding his bankai and mask and on occasion letting his hollow to take control of him. Another thing Naraga enjoys doing is "playing" with his opponents mind by telling or reminding them of something disturbing he did or is going to do.
Background: Naraga Zenos was dead. He remebered nothing of the life he formerly had. He was lost and confused. All he remebered before arriving in a large, sunny, "city" of small buildings and uncountable residents was a being in black robes place the butt of his sword on Naraga's head. After that Naraga saw a blinding white light and awoke in this strange new world. When he questioned the people of the city he discovered that he was in the world of souls: The Soul Society. More specifically, Naraga was currently in an extremely large portion of the Soul Society that was divided into districts that were populated by normal souls he learned to be pluses. As Naraga learned much about the Soul Society including the crime and anarchy of Rukongai. Over the years, his physical and mental maturity began to attract unwanted attention to him such as criminals wanting to recruit him and requests for help. In the end, Naraga decided to wander Rukongai and just survive. Once again, though, he was constantly harrassed for his unnatural size. Naraga began to become so fed up with it he would attack anyone who did so. Then, something stranged happened to him: during one of his skirmishes he was suddenly caught off guard and subdued by a man wearing similar clothes to the person who sent him to Rukongai: A soul reaper. After a series of events and tests, Naraga was brought to the Shinigami academy after succesfully learning of his spiritual pressure and obtaining use of the sealed form of his zanpakuto.
Within the Shinigami Academy, Naraga was still watched by curious eyes but instead of hate emnating from his classmates eyes he saw fear. He did not know why but it was fear none the less. Naraga excelled in most of his classes mainly hand to hand combat, armed combat, stealth, and full power head to head confrantations. He didn't so well in Kido due to the fact that he didn't like it and could never memorise the verses required to cast the spells. Through the few years he spent in the Academey he quickly began to enjoy his classmates fear and wonder of his capabilities. He notoriety came to his advantage when he was accepted into the ranks of the 2nd squad after obtaining his very potent, stealth shikai.
Naraga's notoriety was quite impressive in the Shinigami Academy but it wasn't as impressive in the 2nd Division. Fortunately for Naraga though he was still given the 5th seated position. After that Naraga became known as the go to guy of the squad and quickly rose up the ranks. One of the missions he did exceptionally on was when a large group of hollows began to infest a town in Japan called Karakura Town. Naraga was Lieutenant at the time and was given command of a special squad. Naraga was to eliminate the hollows with minimal casualties and return to the Soul Society. Naraga wasn't expected to do as well as he did but he succeeded expecations by creating a plan in which a small distraction team would grab the attention of the hollows and another team would sneak up from behind and elimated them before the hollows could notice. Naraga was the one to lead the distraction squad. After the hollows noticed the assassination team Naraga ran full charge and killed the remaining hollows with the distraction team (now the assault team) but not without achieving scars of his powerful opponents. Soon after that Naraga trained for days on end to achieve bankai, he achieved it after nearly 8 1/2 decades of training. Afterchieveing his bankai his captain retired and he was made captain of the 2nd division. During his short period as captain as captain, Naraga would command total loyalty and respect from his squad and the other captains. He would also make a lieutenant out of a promising soul reaper named Nashihiko Kishu who would later succeed him as captain. 15 years after he became captain Naraga felt drawn back to Rukongai so he decided to go see if it had changed in any way since he left. When he finally reached the place where he was found by the soul reaper who helped bring him where he was today, the area was clear of life. All that was there was a man of a dangerous atmosphere. He spoke to Naraga as if he knew him and offered power that no shinigami could understand until it was experienced. As if commanded by something hidden within himself, Naraga agreed and was transformed into an entity that Naraga believed should only exist in nightmares. The sudden release of his hollow brough about the mysterious disappearance of Naraga within the Sereitei and a wide spread search of him. Naraga was luckily able to negotiate with his hollow and achieve control but in return his hollow had to be allowed to live alongside his zanpakuto and if death was immanant for Naraga he would be required to give up his body in order for them both to survive. In a sense, his hollow became an embodiment of self-preservation for Naraga. Knowing the laws of the Soul Society, Naraga left the Soul Society leaving his former friends and comrades to believe he was dead.
Naraga arrived in the World of the Living and sought refuge within the forests of the great Mt. Fugi, he came across more of his kind. He was inducted into the Visoreds and was granted the position of one of the three High Elites who lead the Visoreds. Over 100 years after his self-exile, The Shinigami/Arrancar war began and Naraga wasted no time in declarinng his desire to go to war against the arrancar. In the Battle of Karakura Town, Naraga engaged a powerful Espada along with a current shinigami captain. Their combined strength was enough to force the Arrancar leader to retreat. Now Naraga waits for his chance to finish the war against the arrancar and finally provide peace for his kind.
