Hezro is about 6' 2" and wieghts about 170 pounds. He has long arms and legs giving him a skinnyappearance. His muscles are cut instead of bulky indicating that he focuses more on conditioning himself rather than bulking up. His skin is very pale from spending to much time indoors and cold to the touch. The only sign of scaring is a huge scar running with his left arm down to his wrist. His steel grey hair falls down just over his eyes but isn't thick enough to prevent sight. His eyes are also an unusal color of grey, giving him an almost dead appearance. He wears a white version of the picture above as a uniform. his hollow hole is located on the left side of his chest and is slightly smaller than most. His mask fragment is a horizontal line of small spikes running from the corner of his eyes to the edges of his mouth on both sides of his face.
Personality: Hezro is one of those "silent types". He has an odd obsession for new things as well. He usually gets very excited with meeting new people and seeing new things but as he gets more used to them he pushs away from them. With this being said he is always around new people and has hardly any "friends" that he is around constantly. He also has a habit of changing his fraccion every few years, claiming they screw up to much to be his fraccion when in reality he is just bored with them. His drive for new things as driven him to science. He loves reasearch, developing new things, and experimentation. He is also facinated with the other races, mainly what makes them function and a new specimen is always appreciated in his eyes. When it comes to knowledge, he is probably one of the smartest of the espada. As a leader, he tends to issue a single command, not given much detail other than what is needed. he takes orders from la primera with excitement and tends to make it his top priority, leaving everything he was doing previously to be forgotten.
Fighting Style: Hezro like long fights over instant kills. He likes seeing his opponent react to different scenerios and how they handle pain. He has only used high level attacks such as gran rey cero once or twice to end a boring fight, but otherwise never uses them. He favors bala over cero but does use it when given the chance. He loves swordsmanship, especially the speed aspect of it, and can be a bit theatrical at times. He also fights in his sealed form as long as possible.
Background: Hezro grew up as a normal child who spent his time working with his father rather than playing with friends, giving him the "silent type" persona he has. He joined the united states marines at age 18 and was assigned to a combat division, his first mission to Africa would end in his death however. Hezro was a rifleman and was in combat with men dieing all around him. A hollow was also on the battlefield devouring the dead as they dropped. The hollow separated Hezro from his body and severed his soul chain. He ran from the hollow and was going crazy because he was no longer in his body. He managed to escape the hollow and he became a hollow after a few days. He returned to the battlefield and did as the hollow before him had done, devouring the fallen soldiers souls.He also say the corpses as something interesting, constantly watching them and observing them to see them rot before him in the ground before he left.
He managed to catch a boat back to the states, hiding amongst the dead of those in the war, still looking at their corpse's like a child looking at fireflies. He lingered around graveyards watching the burial process of the recently killed and would eat those souls who would visit the departed. Not long after he had started hunting those in grief did his hunger intensify, forcing him to consume his own kind. He found hollows satisfying and the hunt enjoyable. It took him a few years before he became a menos grande though becasue usually stalked his prey a few days before eating them. He found the forest of menos heavenly, a place where he could feed and wonder how he pleased not worrying about when he will get his next meal. The only downfall was when another menos decided to attack him. He was rather good with cero so defending himself wasn't too hard.
As an adjuchas he missed being a menos and the feeling of peace. He sought for more of his kind, yet whenever he found them they became hostile or his hunger for feeding would drive him to kill them. He fought with them and killed them all, rarely would he spare one. Those he did wouldn't last long anyway, he would grow tired of them anddevour them too. He had heard that if he stopped hunting he would revert back to a menos and stay like that forever. Despite his like for the forest, he didn't want to be trapped in that form forever. He keep going to yet was never able to obtain the status of a vasto lorde, but wasn't to concerned with it. He eventually found a man without a mask, yet had the spiritual pressure of a hollow. He learned that he was an arrancar, the primera of the Espada he called himself. Hezro was resistant at first to his presence but found his words of greater power truthful. The arrancar helped hezro successfully remove his mask and trained him in the arts of an arrancar. Hezro later joined the man as a member of the espada and has aided him and his plans ever since.
As an Espada, Hezro worked mainly in his study. He loved science and experimentation, making him one of the leading sources for understanding the Espada's enemy. Hezro had studied and killed many hollows, humans, shinigami, and even other arrancar. He alwasy took every experiment seriously and learned as much as he could from it. His experimentation didn't keep him from advancing in rank however. Over the years he had risen to the rank of trecera and planned on moving in on the segunda. He had no intention of becoming primera, he wasn't exactly the leader type. With the attack on soul society, Hezro was ordered to attack one of the main gates. He was the only Espada who managed to enter soul society through one of the gates, causing the majority of the chaos. He meet with a shinigami captain and almost killed him. He was stopped however by an older shinigami, who nearly cut off his left arm. Before Hezro could engage the new appearing shinigami, the retreat was ordered. He fled the scene by garganta, staring at the new arrival, remembering his face so he could look to fight him in the future.
After the attack on soul society, Hezros old cold personally changed. Something about the defeat had done that to him. He became alittle bit more friendly to those around him but he still disliked talking much. He also detached himself from everything that wasn't new, leading to his new personality. He drove himself into a year of nearly constant study, focusing on shinigami over all. He hated the defeat of their attack, it was one of the only assignments that he had failed at. He was also suprised at how much damage the shinigami had done, mainly the new elder ones. Pereza had also faught an elder, this one was in shikai and had broken through his defense in resurreccion. Pereza was known for his unimaginable defense, so it wasa big deal.
With the secound year after the attack, Hezro took the rank of segunda Espada. The fight was long and well faught on both sides, and many of the other arrancar watched it take place in the white sand just outside of Los Noches. Hezro's resurreccion ability won him the match in the end. He brought the broken mask of the opponent to la primera as a proof of his victory. With his new rank, Hezro started to focus alittle more on the espada's affairs. He wanted to make sure they didn't lose the next time they fought with the shinigami, which he believed would be soon enough. He was also working on the perfect way to destroy them once and for all.
