Name: Tortuga Hermético
Release Phrase: "Emerge..."
Represent: Tortoise
Family: Telekinesis
Sealed Description: Pereza's zanpakuto is one of the few to not be in sword form. Instead, it takes the form of a 10-foot-long spear, with a wedge-shaped tip and a round mace at the other end. The shaft is black, the mace and the spear are gray, and the tip of the spear is amber-colored. Pereza uses his telekinesis, as well as his connection with his zanpakuto, to affect the spear's every movement, being able to control it as he pleases. He tends to use his zanpakuto for mid-to-long distance combat, while resorting to hand-to-hand combat at close range.
Released Description: Pereza's torso is encased in a version of a black tortoise shell, with the edges and ridges are amber-colored. The outside of the shell also forms hard knobs and spikes, while the bottom of it (i.e. Pereza's front) is flat and smooth. A black beak-like visor extends from the top of the shell and over Pereza's head. In terms of facial features, Pereza's mask remnants disappear, and the irises of his eyes change from its usual gray to a shining amber color. Also, Pereza's joints are covered with black shell, and his hands are covered with shell-covered maces armored gloves that can be reinforced with reiatsu for deadly offensive power.
Resurrection Ability: In his released state, Pereza can control telekinetic powers as his passive ability. Using this, he can move both physical and spiritual objects to do whatever he wants. Pereza can also use his powers to deflect physical and spiritual attacks. Although Pereza can simply use his mind to control his telekinetic ability, he can use his hands to strengthen it (increase grip on objects, move them with greater speed, etc.). In Tortuga Hermético, Pereza can now move as he wishes, though he cannot move at the speeds that a shunpo-user could (except with a technique). Also, Pereza's already-impressive defenses becomes even more formidable with his shell acting as a hierro-hardened shield that is extremely difficult to damage.
When he is not in his Resurrection state, Pereza can still use telekinesis passively, but he can only use it to a small extent, such as getting a piece of meat because he's too lazy to get up and pick it up, or controlling his zanpakuto in a fight (as mentioned above).
Ultimate: Repulsión
Pereza unleashes a shockwave of telekinetic energy that shoots out 500 feet in all directions, breaking almost all defenses and repelling almost all attacks. It also forces away opponents, crushing and killing weaker opponents while knocking stronger opponents back/down and breaking their bones. This is an impartial attack that damages both friend and foe within its reach. Since Pereza must charge up his energy to release this attack, he must be focusing hard on the task. Though he can dodge and attack as he normally would, his telekinesis is inhibited until he has used the technique or is interrupted.
(3-turn Charge, Lasts for 1 turn, Cooldown of 10 turns)
Techniques:
((Just to note, Pereza can ONLY use these techniques, as well as his Ultimate, in his Resurrected State.))
Tirón: Using his telekinesis and one hand, Pereza pulls in his opponents, where he can finish them off with his strong offensive attacks and not be hurt much because of his hierro. To be caught in Pereza's grip, the opponent must be in the direction where Pereza's hand is aiming. An opponent can also escape if an object appears between Pereza and his target; that object will be pulled towards Pereza instead. If the opponent is caught, then he or she can only escape this technique if they are knocked out of Pereza's grip by a very strong force. Max distance of effect: 250 feet.
(0 turns to prepare, Lasts for 1 turn, Cooldown of 2 turns)
Capitule: Pereza lifts all the objects within 150 feet of him, sending them flying into the air and then flinging them downwards, smashing into the ground. Pereza can lift up objects that weigh thousands of pounds, such as cars and trucks, though he cannot lift EVERYTHING in the affected area; he cannot rip buildings from their foundations with this technique. Opponents cannot easily escape this technique. Like Tirón, they must be knocked out of Pereza's grip by a strong force. As with Repulsión, Pereza's telekinesis is inhibited while he is charging up energy for this technique.
(2-turn Charge, Lasts for 1 turn, Cooldown of 5 turns)
Velocidad Cinética: When this technique is active, Pereza's appearance changes very little, other than his eyes beginning to glow with a bright amber color. In this form, Pereza increases his telekinetic control of his own body, increasing his maneuverability and allowing him to reach speeds rivaling that of an experienced shunpo-user. Combined with his incredibly hard hierro and his dense body mass, Pereza can fly at people to punch, kick, or simply body-slam them (he was already able to fly, but now has greater maneuverability & speed).
