Raija the Lightning Serpent

Name: Raija
Zanpakuto Spirit Appearance: Raija is approximately 6 feet long. His fangs are shaped like miniature lightning bolts.

Zanpakuto Spirit Personality: Raija likes to be the center of attention. He thinks others should be looking to him at all times, or at least, talking about him.

Release Phrase: It's your turn to shock-n-awe, Raija.

Sealed Zanpakuto: Raija, being a part of Snow's soul, is an average wakizashi, save for the fabric on the handle being a vibrant yellow. The sword, when sheathed to the end of the handle, is only 18 inches long, making the blade about 12 inches in length.

Shikai: Raija changes dramatically once released. The sword's grip remains yellow and becomes like a snake, wrapping itself around the user's wrist and forearm. It remains metal, of course, but it makes about three rotations around the arm before stopping just short of the elbow. The blade grows to nearly 30 inches in length and gains a lightning bolt shape. The blade only has one notch in it like this. The blade is practically straight, except for that one notch. The blade has the standard metallic coloring.

Shikai Ability: None

Bankai: In bankai, Raija takes on an enlarged version of his spirit appearance. He becomes nearly 25 feet long, remains vibrant yellow and maintains his lightning shaped fangs. In this version, Snow is capable of getting on the snake's head, using its pointy protrusions as a handle.

Bankai Release Phrase: Please show me your true form, Raija.

Bankai Ability: None

.....a lightning attack that leaves a 50-foot crater....with 1 post charge.... and 1 post cooldown....

Seriously? That's the epitome of overpowered right there, and Lightning Barf (can't believe I'm typing that name) isn't the only OP thing for this zanpakuto. The other techniques also suffer from it.

Poison Lightning - It's kind of interesting, but it can be abused quite easily. You could just damage an opponent, go bankai, and then paralyze that opponent no matter what the circumstances and have Raija rip them to shreds in an instant. Plus, there's no charge/cooldown for it.

Lightning Blast - I assume this can only be used in shikai form, as you describe it as being shot from the tip of the sword? This also seems to be unfairly beastly. The blasts can destroy entire structures (I'm guessing the size of houses) and it can be used multiple times in one post or in consecutive posts. Plus the fact that there's only a cooldown of one post (no charge/cooldown yet again). Add those, and increase cooldown and/or decrease the amount of times it can be fired consecutively.

On a smaller note, the appearance and personality are very bare. It would be nice to know more about Raija's interactions with Snow, for example.

So yeah, the major problems are over-powered techniques. Please change that.
